Girsberger Elektronik AG was founded in 1966. Since the mid-80ties, it produces avalanche and other mountain rescue equipment that is well known all over the world.
Due to strict focusing on the needs of winter sports and close cooperation with the professional mountain rescue organizations, we can identify new technologies very early. When we combine them with our know-how, the results are innovative solutions:

Our milestones comprise, among others, multiple generations of transceivers, transceiver search training systems and helicopter based transceiver search systems.
 
All our products are made of high quality and sustainable materials. They are all manufactured in small volume at our family enterprise in Switzerland.
